Potential ‘Performance’ Dual Motor version of Tesla Model 3 spotted on race track
In an interesting spotting of a possible ‘Performance’ version of Tesla Model 3, TMC forum member ‘sreams’ has claimed that he saw the vehicle last week, at the Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA.
The Tesla Model 3 ‘Performance’ version has been promised by Tesla CEO Elon Musk; but there has, thus far, been no news about the version. Nonetheless, going by the projections, the ‘Performance’ model will be equipped with dual motor, along with performance brakes and a new air suspension.
In reporting the spotting of the potential Model 3 ‘Performance’ version at the race track last week, TMC member ‘sreams’ has also confirmed the discovery by posting a photo of the mentioned vehicle from underneath the front wheel. The photo shows the vehicle’s front CV axle, apparently indicating dual motor.
Sharing the photo of the potential ‘Performance’ version of Model 3, TMC member ‘sreams’ said that when he reached the race track last week, he found that there were 4 Model 3 electric vehicles which had manufacturer plates on them; with one of those vehicles in particular having “20-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot sports, and *huge* brake rotors.”
Asserting that one of the 4 Model 3 version spotted at the race track was the potential ‘Performance’ version, TMC member ‘sreams’ affirmed: “This was certainly a PD (Performance Dual Motor) Model 3!”
