CruZer Scooter launches new e2000 full size electric scooter in US
CruZer Scooter has recently announced the launch of its new Chinese-manufactured e2000 electric scooter in the US. The newly-launched e2000 is a full size electric scooter which can seat two passengers.
All EPA and DOT standards for the 225 lbs (102 kg) e2000 electric scooter have already been met by CruZer Scooter, with the first units of scooter likely to be delivered in the US in September 2018. The company is aiming at the sale of 750-1,000 scooters in its first year.
The CruZer Scooter e2000 electric scooter is now available for pre-orders via Indiegogo. The pre-order price of the electric scooter is $2,500. According to CruZer Scooter, retail price of the scooter, after the end of pre-order period, will be $3,300.
The CruZer Scooter e2000 is equipped with a 72V 30Ah removable Li-ion battery, with a 2.19 kWh rating. The battery, on a full charge, can give the scooter a range of 40 miles (64 km). For charging, the battery takes around 4-6 hours with a low power, Level 1 (110 VAC wall outlet) 5A charger.
The e2000 has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 30 mph in barely 5 seconds, thanks to the 72V, 2 kW (2.7 hp) brushless DC hub motor in its rear wheel.
The electric scooter comes with 12-inch tubeless tires, along with front and rear disc brakes. The suspension of the scooter includes front telescopic and dual rear coilover suspension.
