Audi will unveil e-tron quattro electric SUV on September 17, and start taking reservations in US
In a recent confirmation about the forthcoming launch of its e-tron quattro electric SUV, German automaker Audi has said in a recent press release that the vehicle will be officially unveiled on September 17, 2018. The e-tron quattro electric SUV, as per the automaker’s statement, is “the first all-electric Audi e-tron.”
In announcing that the e-tron quattro electric SUV is scheduled for its international launch in San Francisco on September 17, Audi also added alongside that the unveiling of the vehicle will also coincide with the opening of its pre-orders in the US market. The automaker further elaborated that it would implement the vehicle’s reservation process with $1,000 deposit.
Audi has also confirmed that the expected timeline for the deliveries of e-tron quattro electric SUV in US showrooms is “the first part of 2019.”
Audi’s recent announcement of the imminent international unveiling of the e-tron quattro electric SUV in the US in September implies that the automaker will make an official disclosure of the specifications of the vehicle, as well as its pricing, at the unveiling event.
Meanwhile, with regard to the e-tron quattro electric SUV’s reservation process, Audi said that the vehicle’s reservations will come with “a digital ecosystem,” and explained: “After customers place a reservation, they will be able to track it online and with their local dealer.”
